We’re starting from the field

For years, we've helped operators put agricultural drones to work across real acres and real spray seasons. We’ve learned where the technology excels.

We’ve also learned where it needs to get better.

Our next platform takes those lessons forward — with enhancements shaped by field experience and the full parts, dealer, and support infrastructure behind it.

What field experience is pointing us towards:

Is this next model going to be an EAVision drone?
  • Our next drone model is based on the proven EAVision J150 platform, but it is an Agri Spray Drones product with a proprietary design and ASD-directed enhancements. It represents an important bridge between the technology our customers know today and the progressive path towards the U.S.-designed, sourced, assembled, and supported drone ecosystem we are building for the future.

 

  • This platform is part of our conditional approval pathway and allows us to deliver a proven product while we build our own U.S.-based assembly and manufacturing capabilities. Our next drone model is an important step in that transition—it’s not simply a renamed EAVision drone.
Where is this next model going to be made?
  • Our next drone model is currently assembled in China by EAVision. Before reaching customers, each drone undergoes ASD’s U.S.-based quality-control process and is backed by our U.S. team and nationwide dealer network.

 

  • This allows us to bring the drone to market under our current regulatory pathway while we establish U.S.-based assembly and manufacturing capabilities. It is one step in a deliberate transition toward future drones designed and manufactured increasingly here in the United States.

If the next model is based on the J150 platform, what's going to be changing?
Branding
  • Custom hood and accent design, ASD branding
  • ASD-branded software, housed within U.S.-based AWS servers
Spray System → Spray more accurately and efficiently (more flow, higher GPA at a faster rate)
  • Larger, heavier duty spray tank (20 gal → 22.5 gal)
  • Larger spray piping  - allows for more flow
  • More robust flow meter
  • Upgraded to larger, single spray esc
    • Allows for more durable spray harness connectivity, easier serviceability, higher power rating
  • New updated spray atomizer disc
    • Improved design for optimal performance
  • Quick release nozzle mount for easier nozzle remove and serviceability

How are you supporting J150 users into the future?

J150 customers will continue to be supported through ASD’s nationwide dealer network, technical support team and robust parts infrastructure well beyond the launch of our next platform.

 

We’re also developing upgrade options that will allow customers to bring select improvements to their existing J150s.

 

The launch of a future model does not change our commitment to the operators who rely on the J150 today—we intend to keep them supported, equipped and flying.
