QUALITY IS A PROCESS

Quality checked in the United States.

Manufacturer quality control is one checkpoint. Before an AGRI 225 ships to a customer, ASD adds its own U.S.-based layer of inspection and testing in Boonville, Missouri. Specifically:

01

Hands-on inspection

Our QC team inspects the aircraft, arms and hardware, battery connections and spray system by hand.

02

Flight check at the shop

The aircraft is flown at HQ before it ships, not just powered on.

03

Flight logs through QC tooling

Flight logs from the check are uploaded and run through ASD's quality-control tooling, so the result is recorded, not just observed.

If something does not meet specification, it is corrected or replaced before the aircraft leaves. The same standard is being built into the training ASD dealers receive.

BACKED BY ASD

FAQ

Questions operators are asking

The AGRI 225 is based on the proven EAVision J150 platform, but it is an Agri Spray Drones product with a proprietary design and ASD-directed enhancements. It is a bridge between the technology our customers know today and the U.S.-designed, sourced, assembled and supported drone ecosystem we are building. It is an important step in that transition, not simply a renamed EAVision drone.

AGRI 225 is currently manufactured in China by EAVision. Before reaching customers, aircraft go through ASD's U.S.-based quality-control process in Boonville, Missouri, and are backed by our U.S. team and nationwide dealer network. This lets us bring the AGRI 225 to market under our current regulatory pathway while we establish U.S.-based assembly and manufacturing capabilities.

Three systems were updated. The spray system moves more product and measures it more accurately: larger plumbing, a single larger spray ESC and solenoid, an updated atomizer disc, quick-release nozzle mounts and an electromagnetic flowmeter. The power system gets an updated battery terminal with an integrated locking mechanism, and updated battery management system. The flight system gets thicker arms, 316 stainless hardware, updated motors with cooling fins, and carbon-fiber propellers on teeter mounts. The frame is unchanged.

Yes. many parts carry over from the J150, including the remote, FPV, pumps, spreader system, LiDAR and bracket, RTK and SDR antennas, motor ESCs, landing gear, CPU and most cables.

The J150 stays fully supported. ASD is also making improvements available to J150 owners through our nationwide dealer network. Your dealer can walk you through the options and pricing. Get more info here.

AGRI 225 runs ASD-branded software hosted on U.S.-based servers, and ASD decides when an update is released to operators.
